WYKS-FM Kiss 105.3

I see WYKS-FM Kiss 105.3's ratings go up in Arbitrends. Do you think it's partly because of Rock 104 going away? WHHZ went over 2.0 for once.

Anyone here have recent numbers for Sundays 8pm-12am, or close to that daypart? I hear "The Perimeter" has had monster ratings for over a decade. I'm on it at least once a month, so I'm curious.

Only CHR in town and one of the "original" Gainesville FM's. Poor signal and marginal imaging won't propel this station to a top 3-5 status. Anyone recall what WYKS's best book ever was?

Well, if you go back about 30 years, before the market combined, they had some books where they were #1 12+. They wiped the AM competition off the map in their first book (as one might expect). But that was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.........

A 4.6 in Winter 2005 is their best since 2000. Rock 104's best was a 7.1 in Spring 2005.

Mo, you should always take trends with a grain of salt as the diary returns are unweighted. But, I'll agree a 5.0 share for YKS is impressive... we'll see what the full books says in a couple of months.
