Here's what they do the rest of the year. Go north from Garland on SH78/Lavon Hwy. Turn left on Ballard/FM2514. Go through Downtown. Ballard turns into Parker Rd. Take the first steep left curve. Then, as you approach the steep right curve just ahead, pull off into the field and set yourself up some lawn chairs and a picnic. Wait for the first southbound idiot to take the curve at 70MPH, and you've got a show. This is especially great for nighttime entertainment. You can count on at least two or three going to the hospital each hour, an appearance of a Careflite helicopter every week or two, and, of course, the bi-monthly fatality. I hear Careflite's building a hangar near there, and Sparkman-Hillcrest is expanding into Wylie as well.
On a real slow night, however, you can always check out the flashing red light downtown, or wait for the 12:05AM train to whizz by.
