WYNF is now in South Carolina

The WYNF calls have moved again and apparently its on a country station this time. Clear Channel has them parked now at 1380 AM in South Augusta, SC on a station known as "The Bull 1380 AM - Today's Best Country & Legends." For those that didn't know, WYNF had been on a rock station in the Macon, GA market up until a few weeks ago, but they switched to AC as "The Peach" swapping the WPCH calls from the same station that is now WYNF.

I guess CC still thinks WYNF is worth protecting. I would love to see COX get the calls. They could move Magic to 101.5, move 102.5's format to 94.9 and call it 95ynf, hire Ron Diaz, or even get Ron & Fez to do mornings and it would almost be like the good ol' days are back. We already know how much Tampa Bay loves to be nostalgic on the radio (look at the success of the Q105 revival.) I guess that's exactly what CC is afraid of!

They could always fudge a little and call it "95 INF".

You beat me to the punch on this Rich... good job. I was playing around with the Radio-Locator and CC website yesterday, while bored at work, and also discovered this. How sad, another set of heritage calls parked on some rinky-dink AM in a small market town. Others including WDIZ, WSHE, and WZTA just to name a few.
