WYNT & WMRN Moves

What is the status of these moves? Will WYNT move and take the WMRN call letters (and possibly format) when WMRN moves to 106.7 in Dublin (actually Westerville)? What is the time frame?

I think the WMRN move was to be completed before year-end according to a Dispatch article a couple months ago. It may be 2006 before we see it.<P ID="signature">______________

The WMRN FM app for the Dublin (well, Westerville) site has not been granted yet. So it will be 2006 at the earliest.

Meanwhile, WYNT has a CP north of Caledonia off RT. 4(?) just south of the Marion/Crawford county line.

Which is very interesting as the allocation coordinates originally had it just east of Marion. Near where the Meijer's is located.

The present site doesn't seem to cover much of anything in the way of population.

Either CC plans to move it back near Marion once the MRN CP. is granted for the new site, or CC plans to move someone else, and they want 95.9 out of the way.
