WYOK Becomes 104.1 Jack FM

On March 18th at 5 PM CST, WYOK dropped its country format, Kicks 104, and begun stunting as TV 104.1, playing classic TV theme songs. The next day at 1:04 PM, WYOK flipped to the satellite-fed version of Jack FM as 104.1 Jack FM. Here are clips of the stunt and the flip.

Both airchecks were recorded off of WYOK's online stream.

Personally, I thought the TV 104.1 stunt was brilliant. It was one of the best and most creative stunt formats I've heard in a while. Hey, it sure beats 72 hours of a ticking clock or one of those weird robotic voice countdowns, that's for sure.

One *might* also think it's easier to sell time/spots durring that style of stunting...expecially if the businesses advertising were television networks... 8)
