WYRD

It looks as if Entercom is running WYRD FM on two different HD channels. The station is on WSPA HD2 and also on WFBC HD4.

Anyone have thoughts as to why they might be doing this? Both stations' HD channels cover about the same area.

WFBC and WSPA have enough coverage difference that they can gain power on the translators in Anderson and points south and west of those sites. They are probably using WFBC 4 to feed the 95.1 translator.

Where are they on 95.1? I know they used to put the station on the 105.9 in Greenville, but now it's the HD-2 from 93.3, some religious broadcaster that they are leasing to. (They don't own the 105.9, but the transmitter for a while was on the tower attached to the Entercom building.)
