WYSP going "live" in the morning

This morning I tuned in to hear a live version of "Cowboy" by Kid Rock playing, and I thought to myself, "Hmm, this isn't the same tired Zepplin AC/DC Van Halen safe rock playlist I've been hearing since they flipped". I then heard a liner about how they're now "live" in the morning, and they used the description of "weekdays" too. They then played "Bawitdaba" and "Save Yourself" (Audioslave), both live as well. Does anybody know how long it lasted or any other info? I didn't see any mention on their site. Just a holdover until Chris comes back? I like it, the possibility of hearing a song rarely played, or a cool alternative version of a song.

I bet they did think it sounded great. ;)

MMR's HD-2 channel is all live music. I wonder if this experiment has anything to do with that.
 
They added the following to the rotating main thingy on their website sometime today (wasn't there around 2)-

Mornings go LIVE-
For the first time in over 20 years 94 WYSP goes LIVE in the AM! 7a-9a weekdays you'll hear live cuts from Nirvana, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Van Halen and Red Hot Chili Peppers!

Actually, if you want to split hairs, they're "local" in the AM for the first time since then.

They couldn't fit "the biggest names in rock, like" in there? It looks like we're only going to hear those five artists all morning.

And, as already stated, they've been "live" in mornings the entire 20 years (or, within, say, a minute of live).
 
If they are going to play Side 3 of KISS Alive, then I will listen. ;D
