WZAT Construction Permit

Perhaps this was asked before but I never saw anything about it. I noticed that Radio-Locator advertises a construction permit for WZAT which would move the city license to Tybee Island. No indication that the tower is moving considering the map shows no change. Does anyone know what this is about?

Cumulus changed the COL of WTYB to Bluffton, SC. In order to do this change they had to replace the service to Tybee Island with another station. Thus the COL change of WZAT to Tybee. The antenna will not move for either stations as the 60 db signals will still cover the COL.

What prompted this? Seems odd that Cumulus would move their (for sale) station into Triad territory...on paper. Also, will calls be changed?

Nothing else changes, just COL. Sometimes we do things just because we can.
