WZJY switches formats

Over the last few days, WZJY (1480) has flipped again. They had a black talk/sports format, with the 2 Live Stews and David Mack, among others. Because they had so few listeners listening, now, not even rating at all in the last book, that they have flipped back to a Spanish format, simulcasting with co-owned 98.9 WAZS.

They had this format for a brief time just before they flipped to black talk.

What do you think about this?

Probably from lack of advertising and being low powered. Awhile ago I read Jabor Communications wanted to put a jazz station on the FM dial now maybe they can put it on 1480.

Honestly, GOSPEL 106.3 is the best thing Jabar has now since no other station in Charleston has a strong Urban Gospel format. I thought HOT 98.9's Hip-Hop format was also a great choice for Jabar. Everyone would talk about HOT 98.9 and they actually had great talent that have moved on to bigger and better things. Ex. Gentleman George, Kelly Mac, Charlamgne The God, DJ B-Lord.
