Did Salem ever own 98.9? I thought that Don Martin sold it directly to CC.

I believe he meant Salem, Indiana, not Salem Broadcasting.

You're right...when I saw the word Evildoer, it guided my though train toward Salem, the Christian Broadcaster.

Having not looked at their playlist, I think 98.9 has made a lot of changes, most subtle, over the last couple of months and become more rhythmic... maybe a little bit more dance-ish. One example that immediately comes to mind is that dance party-type 6pm hour every weekday.

Here's the news. Last night I was scanning up the dial and passed by 98.9, listened a moment and continued scanning. When I got to 99.7 I heard the same song. I thought, "Hmmm I wonder who is copying..." I flipped back and forth between the stations, and DJX's version ended first.

I wonder how often this happens in a day...
