I'm sorry, we all might have missed it, but when were you "PD of the Year" since being at WZKL? (for those of you playing at home, if you guessed 'zero' or 'none', you're right!!)
Hell, you haven't even been given props on All Access. Meanwhile, Dan Mason and Kasper of WAKS have gotten props twice. Even Trout at WHOT has gotten mentioned. But, no John Stewart of WZKL/Alliance.
And speaking of "knowing your stuff", maybe you should learn how to be consistant with your ratings, instead of the rollercoater you've had since you've been there. You're giving Cedar Point a run for its' money. You weren't able to hold onto what you had last spring and you probably won't be able to again this time around. I'd bet you money, but I hear you have a history of non-payment, don't ya?

I never said Gwen was a stiff... I said that it was annoying and that I personally hated the record, but I didn't say it was a stiff, to the best of my recollection. Lifehouse, yes, I was wrong about.. it happens.
I don't like you, I don't like your station, that's all there is to it. But, that's my right. If you had a competitor in Canton, you would not be where you are.. and no, WAKS doesn't count as competition for you, so don't even try to say that you're beating KISS, because they could care less about Canton.

Thanks! I usually do weekends. Phones aren't as wild on the weekends though. Nights are fun.
I live almost 2 hours away from the station, so I'm trying to do as much work in my home studio as possible, so more of my IMAGING will be hitting the air soon.
For the record... I think it's kind of cool that Q92 isn't a cookie cutter CHR, and that something like the "Old School Lunch" exists. If it appeals to the demo, why not put it on the station? Eh, what do I know though... I'm just some dude that sometimes works in radio! I'm more of a radio fan than a radio guy. I just like the idea of a station doing it's own thing and catering to the community.
Last but not least, CONGRATS NIKOLINA! Hope the MD strips came with a fat raise! I know you'll do a great job!

The problem is, you're not selling. It seems the sales people for the various services (prep & Westwood One/ABC, etc.) are doing a better job selling YOU than YOU selling to the community.
You're next problem is sustaining what you have. You've failed a year ago at being able to do just that.
Oh, BTW...are you #1 with women in your demo??? That IS what counts. If you're #1 with teens (which I know you are), that ain't nothing to brag about. Where's their disposable income?
