I guessing now that the Power is off Hot 93.7 can go back to adding back in the day songs along with current hits. I was listening on 102 Jamz Orlando stream the other day and they go back in the day also. Before the song plays they say back in the day 1998. As that song was from 98.
Just cause CC said "back in the day Hartford 1994" doesn't mean a CBS Urban station or any other station can't say back in the day. I doubt CC would be the ones who can only say "back in the day" lol. As for Power didn't they not do that much "back in the day" anymore to the end of the station?
I used to say "back in the day", and "blast from the past" on the air back in the late 80's, it doesn't mean I originated either expression, they are kinda common.
