WZNE 94.1 The Zone - when is that streaming going to take place?

The Zone is the only Entercom station left that hasn't streamed. I have yet to hear a Rochester rock station (107.3 The Nerve switched unfort.). What is going on? I'm just yearning to hear how rock sounds in Rochester yet no stations have streamed it! What a poor excuse of a town for rock online!

The Zone has been sold by Entercom so it may not be active rock much longer.

What a poor excuse of a post about Rochester radio! If you're yearning to hear how rock radio sounds here, buy yourself a plane ticket. It's a great time of year to come to the Flower City.

That article has been deleted. Might have to call in and listen then. Sorry I don't mean to sound whiny but we all know that 107.3 The Nerve changed.

Being from Toronto, Canada I must say, if you must go there...please kindly find the cash to restore the ferry that ran from Toronto to Rochester and back!
That would be great for me!
Thank-you Kindly.

I can't speak for everyone, but have you seen the cost of plane tickets lately?...and I happen to like this posting, thank-you very much!

I too wish there would be a stream of this particular station.

Icycool, I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but I don't think WZNE will be an alternative station much longer. Stevens Media has never owned a station with that format, and I don't think they'll keep it on the "Zone" either.

You coulda been nice and told him Rochester radio sounds just like Syracuse radio just like Buffalo radio just like Cleveland radio just like Milwaukee radio just like Pittsburgh radio just like...

Rock Radio In Rochester?

1) Buy a decent antenna.

2) Point it toward Toronto.

Even with the Can-con, there's some very good radio in Canada's largest city.

PS - I also disagree somewhat with E9 re: rock radio in Buffalo. The more I travel, the more I realize that 97-Rock is a darn good radio station, and their special programming really sets them apart. I think that 97-Rock is a much better station than 'CMF, and there's NOTHING in Syracuse that comes close. Syracuse has become a dismal radio market to my ears.
