WZRT/Z97 signal

How far does the station go? I’ve seen it get a marginal share in the Burlington ratings before, and I’ve heard it being received clearly near Lake Sunnapee as well. It is probably the third most powerful station in the state.
But how far does the station usually go?

When it first went on the air back in the late 70s/early 80s......it could reach as far west as the Albany, NY area!! Today, with more translators and short-spaced FMs, that's probably a "reach" now......
Z97's (former) AM counterpart, WSYB, is still on, operating from the same studio location as WJJR (98.1)....of course, both WZRT and WJJR have their transmitters atop Killington Mt. ---
PRIME FM real estate, for sure!!!:)
My brother and his (ex) wife lived in Rutland for many years......when i visited, I'd be sure to stop by WSYB (FM was still in the planning stages.....) and the now defunct WHWB (1000kHz); the latter put their FM on the air initially
at their AM studio site --- in an RF "hole".....using a 12-bay antenna on a 200+ foot tower.....it was moved up to Killington in, IIRC, the mid-80's.
WHWB's owner at the time, John McCormick, had a son, Tim, who worked there weekends -- we struck up a friendship that lasted several years --- then he took off for parts unknown.....:(
