Today (11/7 ) at 4 am WZUM 1550 was putting a very strong signal over the North Hills area. Their transmitter is 15 miles line of site form here. Not bad for 4 watts. Or were they on daytime power ?.
 
During my days at "the Edge 1550", "Lifestyle Talk Radio". and "1550 WZUM" I found the 4 watt signal would be solid from the time I left the studios in Bloomfield to my home in Hampton Township on days when the band was dead and there were NO out of town signals. Once I picked it up in Wexford. I was really surprised and called Stephen to double check the power level on the transmitter. There is nothing more Stephen loves to do in the middle of the night is to drive to the transmitter building (just kidding).
