WZUM SOLD

Mike Horvath Bought WZUM 1590 from the Hickling Family 8/28/1998 for $80,000. He had to Build a New Transmitter Plant and get new Studios, Witch he told me was a "$500,000 investment". Then he sold it to Starboard Media on 6/6/2005 For $435,000 Minus $88,000 witch was Starboards 22% share of WZUM. Now 6/19/2009 StardBoard is Selling WZUM for $800,000 Through it's Sorvin city radio company. Who said Radio Station Prices are going down. The WAMO 860 ,WAMO FM 106.7, WPGR 1510, is a give away. [ WPGR was bought by WAMO from Mortinson Broadcasting for One Million Dollars in 2001]

The 800K is actually being financed with mirrors. I read somewhere that they were only paying 25K in cash. The rest was some kind of tax certificate.....whatever that means.
