WZYP no deejays during the day?

WZYP still has the Mojo radio show during the morning. However, I am starting to wonder if the station has now gone jockless for the rest of the day. I heard their 80s lunch hour, and I don't think I heard a single jock at all. I am not sure if they have restarted their top 5 at 9 countdown. Still, it is depressing to listen to WZYP now, especially if they don't have jocks after the morning show.

I think you're right. I haven't heard any jocks in the daytime that I can remember either and evenings are boring with no exciting elements in the show. It is BORING listening to WZYP now (not that it was that great before, but still...) and Star 99.1 is a WAY better Hot A/C than WZYP is (because we can't really call WZYP a CHR until the evening). Star 99.1's numbers are creaping back up after the format change and I expect to see WZYP's numbers creap down. It'll be interesting to see how long it'll take for WAHR to top WZYP because if WZYP doesn't make some changes soon I think that's exactly what'll happen.

Still hoping one day someone will bring a real CHR to north Alabama...

Last night, I did hear Billy Bush's new weeknight show for CHR stations on WZYP. It may be voicetracked, but at least there is a voice on the radio after Mojo ends his morning show.
