Heard them last night playing oldies. They're off right now though. I didn't hear any IDs or anything, just music. This is the former WKLD Oneonta.

TALLRED said:Anyone know what WHPH tested with before Oldies as 97.7 The Peach? If I recall there was a three month period between the transition from Z97 WEZZ to the Peach. Speaking of WEZZ, The individual reading WZZN's ID yesterday sounded much like one of the voices from WEZZ.
I know this is irrevelant to WZZN, but I thought they may have been going to implement a format on WZZN similar to that on WHPH.

I've got a nice antenna and i'm on the south end of Cullman but I was impressed when it was coming in no static or anything. Best I can tell this translator is coming off the old WKLD tower near Oneonta.
I prefer oldies over country anyway.
I had no idea Blount Broadcasting was still at it....but it looks to me like they found a way to keep an FM signal anyway after the same of WKLD...

EDIT: no wait, nevermind, i'm hearing Gold 97.7, as soon as i turned the antenna to point to Union Grove I completely lost it.
