X FACTOR

At some point American Idol will have to die off. The Reason people will follow Cowell in terms of Talent shows are concernd here.

Well X-Factor never met the expectations of Fox initially, although the show is doing excellent by normal standards. I definately think it will grow next season, and I agree with you, American Idol is now an old, tarnished brand but there really is no reason to cancel. I definitely think The Voice is going to grow this year as well, especially with an earlier timeslot and an after Super Bowl premiere.

I will say Idol will have lower ratings than X-Factor in future years until Idol can prove that they are better than Cowell. But they will have to borrow the Nigel from "So you Think you can Dance " to make Idol barely survive. But At some point if Seacrest Idol Contract expires and Randy Jackson's Idol contract expire they could jump the Idol Ship to X-Factor. But I doubt that since LA Reid is a reasonable judge and Nicole of X-Factor is seen as the more agressive Paula.
