XDS-PRO Series satellite receivers

Does anyone know what the length of the text streams sent out of the rs232 port that come out of the XDS-PRO Series satellite receivers when a cue/relay is triggered? Do they use a terminating char?

It's been a while, but I believe the serial string is a maximum of ten characters, depending on what is being sent. For example; if a serial string is being sent to a Broadcast Tools switcher to switch away, then that string may be longer than just a network break string for logging purposes.

The output is just a serial stream and as far as I know can be any length. The "terminal character" is whatever the originator wants. Some use a carriage return others use a space. Just hang a PC with a terminal program running on the output and you can see what they are sending.
