Xenophobic DePetro Tell Caller He Has A "Professional Broadcaster's Voice"

Unbelievable.

John DePetro is discussing a recent murder in Lynn when a woman with an accent calls to defend the alleged killer.

DePetro detects an accent and try to discredit her when she tells him she is from the West Indies.

He then harps on her accent and says with an apparent straight face [ I know this is radio] " I have a professional radio voice."

My sides still hurt from laughing............

Has John DePetro EVER heard his voice on tape?
 
All Depetro probably does IS listen to the sound of his own voice; he has no
objectivity. WRKO has forced an egomaniac on the airwaves who can't speak,
is boring, and probably chose to work at a bargain basement price in a bigger
market.

We're the ones who have less options on the radio when the airwaves are wasted like that. What does Depetro add to this community: NOTHING.

So we choose not to listen.

Depetro makes up for the lack of listeners probably by listening to himself.

You're overlooking such nomenclatures as "towel heads" and "wetbacks" frequently uttered by Jay Severin! By the way, why would anyone who is free to listen to the radio from 9:00 anm till noon in the Boston area NOT listen to Stephanie MILL-ER!
