They only identify themselves as FOX 6. Only time you see/hear anything about XETV is when they do their sign-on and the Mexican national anthem at 4 a.m. They are a Mexico station.I'm old enough to remember when XETV was San Diego's ABC affiliate - 1960s and possibly into the early 70s. Since they weren't bound by FCC rules, they ran absolutely NO public service or news. When other network affiliates were running their local 11:00 PM News, they played syndicated sit-com reruns. Keep in mind, this was before news became a cash cow for local stations.
