XEWT - Tijuana 12 Advertisements

While vacationing in San Diego area. I watched some glimsed of Televisa Tijuana and the only commercials that I saw was San Diego US commerical instead of Mexican commericals. I was wondering if Cox Cable provide a separate US advertisement feed of XEWT or XEWT tends to have more US commerical instead of Mexico commerical?

Back in 2005, I sampled XEWT at a Chula Vista Motel 6, through their motel cable (which is practically Dish Network and an aerial) -- the ads on that station were a mix of American and Mexican, though leaning towards American. I also recall seeing an infomercial on a Saturday morning for a carpet store in Chula Vista (which is in California).

Funny thing is -- you can tell an ad is for Mexicans when a Pizza Hut ad says you can buy a pizza for $129.00. (Pesos, of course.)

While visting Tijuana, I've noticed ads for Dorian's (local Baja California department store chain), Telcel and several national ads. There are also many ads for San Diego businesses as well. I did notice government PSAs for the power company and "get out to vote" the weekend of July 4th. Mexico's election day is always on the 5th of July.
