XHLTN 104.5 Transmitter

While going thru FM SCAN.org. According to the FCC database, XHLTN is 57.5 kw and 102M, but according to this website, XHLTN is 120kw and HAAT is 272m? Which information is correct? I thought XHLTN transmitter is located next to XETV tower on Mt. San Antonio?

Mexican stations frequently add horizontal and vertical powers for promotional and advertising sales purposes. This is not a "forbidden practice" in that country.

In general, free, third party data sites are not going to be 100% accurate due in part to the sheer volume of data they attempt to provide and also due to the delays and inaccuracies of the the source data, particularly for "developing nations."

True, but I'd also be suspicious of any data on foreign stations found in the FCC DB. Those numbers are what the foreign government has "notified" the U.S. of -- and do not necessarily reflect what's actually on the air. (for example, the FCC AM DB contains Canadian stations which have been off the air for a decade or more and will never return)

At least with Canadians, you can download the Industry Canada DB which I believe to be as accurate for Canadian stations as the FCC DB is for US operations. I haven't been able to find the official Mexican numbers.

They broadcast from Cerro Bola, same tower as XHHIT 95.3. Their TPO is 5 KW.

XHLTN is on San Antonio next to the TV site, with (per SCT) 57 kw ERP (H & V).

105.7 is on Cerro Bola and 95.3? What else is up there?
