Instead of the call letters being XHDTV how about XHETV to match
Fox 6, and also do you think they could have there own nightly
newscast.

Entravision has Univision 17 and Telemundo 33 having there own
separte newscasts.

XHUPN / XHDTV's newscast would have to be an evening newscast or at 11PM, so they wouldn't compete with XETV.

KBNT and XHAS are seen against each other, since they're aimed at different markets (KBNT for SD, XHAS for Tijuana).
