XL92 is just BAD!

I streamed XL92 this morning for a while and the music flow is just bad. Weird songs that just don't fit together... some Hot AC, some way-too AC, some non-hit stiffs... ugh! And Coop and Dee Dee seem very dull. His: "92.3" and her: "WGXL" every break was like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I also streamed 99 Rock. I heard 3 breaks from Chris --- no personality. One was a wicked long plug for an appearance coming this weekend... ran at LEAST a minute. Another was a sports report... which was obviously read off a sheet of paper. I was really surprised. Does Chris do personality radio anymore? Or did I just catch a few odd breaks?

Sorry for the negative post. Just honest reaction.
 
I don't think Coop sounds that bad. Then again, I don't listen regularly.

With the current ownership, as long as the clients like the product and the operation is cost-effective, the status quo remains.
 
Stay tuned....I'm going to start doing the sports in a "Celebrity Dirt" delivery starting Monday.

Not true.

I lived in White River Junction back when you both were at XL92 though and have followed both of your careers since moving away from the area. I actually met you back then at a random ice cream shop too, Chris.

I still streamed Jackson/Shane when he was at KISS in Boston fairly regularly but haven't been able to since he moved to Dallas due to my work schedule.
And Chris, please don't take my comments so negatively. I always thought you were a great talent back then and I'm sure you still are; I'm sure the breaks I heard yesterday morning were not representative of your overall package. Although I DID listen for a full half hour so I was just surprised to hear such little personality from you during that time.
