XM and Sirius music channels not overprocessed

One of the things I've come to enjoy about XM and Sirius is the seeming lack of over-processed music. Whenever I listen to the same kind of music on FM the tunes sound so compressed that my ears start to ache for some dynamic range. Sirius 14 (Classic Vinyl) happened to play Riders on the Storm at the same time it was on FM classic rock and the difference was night and day. I don't pretend to be an audio expert but my ears tell me they like XM and Sirius a lot more than the over-compressed or over-processed stuff on FM.
