XM Back in my car!

Don't know what happened to my other message but for those who complain that there is only griping and whining here I have to say that it's great to have XM back in my car. I found a place to mount the Roady XT and invested in a good ground loop isolator to get rid of the whine in the audio.

Now will somebody tell me why they don't make an all in one unit. After all the add on tuners are very small, they make HD radios with all the stuff built in. If you want an integrated unit there is an extra unit to mount and wiring harnesses to buy. It gets expensive in a hurry. My car radio isn't that great, I really wanted to replace it with something that had XM, I just couldn't justify the $$$ Maybe come income tax refund time.

In any case it's good to have satellite radio back in the car!

I here what you're sayin'! I went without XM in the car for months. When I received an offer to turn it back on for free and get service for 6 months @ 25 per month, I did so, and haven't regretted my decision. For the car, XM still rules as a medium choice, especially when I gotta have my '50s and '60s music fix! 8)

'50's and '60's would be my "music comfort food". I also listen to "Watercolors", "Spa", "Chill". "Blend",
"Bridge", and others.

You're right XM still rules in the car. I find that fumbling with CD's or iPod playlists while driving really just doesn't cut it. I'm not into streaming with my smartphone either since I don't have an unlimited data plan.
