XM Bill

i just recieved my new XM bill and after reading it , I will NOT be renewing my XM. I refuse to pay the music fees that they are asking for. XM is gettinglike regular radio, and I don't pay music fees to listen to it. I have had a nice 3 or 4 years, but all good things must come to an end. XM will be no more!!

I friend of mine called last week to cancel because of the royalty fees. They gave him a full yr for half price. It is worth asking. I'm going to ask the same thing when my renew comes up in March. If they say No, then I am history also. :( :(

I've posted before about this. I cancelled my service after they reduced the playlst and jacked up the price. When I called to cancel they kept inisisting I give them my credit card info, I declined to do so. They bumped me from the first third world person I talked to up to a supervisor, who then bumped me up to her supervisor. I gave her a blistering earful about what I thought of the service since the merger and of the price increase. They then offered me 5 months free I said no, then they upped it to 6 months, I still said no. It finally became so hard to get them to take NO for an answer, that I wouldn't be renewing their crappy service, that I finally had to threaten that I would file a complaint with the state attorney generals office and the FCC. I recently got a letter offering 5 or 6 months for $20, I shredded it. Why should I pay twice as much for less then half of what I received before the merger and when I can here the same crappy songs for free on regular FM?
