XM changes -- Sirius next?

XM changed its lineup 45 minutes ago. Nothing yet with Sirius. Right now the Pulse is playing different music on each service. XM has new sweepers, XM 26, Sirius 12. Sirius has old ones, Sirius 9.

I've also noticed that the 80's channles on both SIRIUS and XM have not merged yet. They are still playing different music at 1am central. Heard a promo on first wave saying the ninty's on nine was available on both SIRIUS and XM but I checked my SIRIUS reciever and like you I head the pulse still playing on 9 instead of channel twelve. Sounds like there is still some merging to do. I've also noticed on the channles that have merged there are not many liners yet. Only an occcasional one mentioning the channles. I've been listeening to Hair Nation and have not heard a liner in almost twenty minutes. Also, I've noticded on Direct TV (where I listen to XM. the titlle isnot matching up with the song being played. I noticed this on both Hair Nation and Frist Wave. Is anyone who is listening directly through their XM reciever noticing the same problem? or is this unique to Direct TV.

An update. XM's 90's on 9 is now on SIRIUS. Happened within the last half hour. Also SIRIUS big 80's is now simulcast on XM. also within the last half hour. It is now 1:52 AM Central time.

Sirius' changes happened this morning as well. I had an interruption of service when I fired up my car this morning and then it came back.

Sirius 19/Buzzsaw is now called Boneyard (XM's version of hair nation) but is playing the limited engagement of ACDC radio. I'm not too happy about that because Buzzsaw was my daily standard.

Boombox 39 is now Pop2k switching from drum&bass/breaks/electro rock to 2k pop hits (yet another disappointment for me)

Hard Attack is now Liquid Metal
Left of Center is now Sirius XM U

Maxim Radio is Sirius XM 108 right now...but this morning they were still replaying last night's Covino & Rich show

Sounds to me like a lot of the stations where they combine the network names (Sirius XM) are probably in the process of being renamed...maybe they couldn't come up with an agreement on what to name said channel

Should be interesting to see what's in store.
