XM channel 103

[romer979fm]

While surfing on the way to work yesterday...my receiver
stopped on channel 103...called "ME 103" playing The Allman Brothers.
When I got back in the car after work, it was gone.
Testing? An XM engineer putting up their own carrier, maybe?

Anyone else?<P ID="signature">______________

This was a contest they had and the winner got to program their own channel for a day or a number of hours-I am not sure... This is what you were hearing

I wish XM would have promoted it. I would have liked to have heard it.
I hadn't heard anything about it. Not even a press release, AFAIK.

it was promoted. they ran promos about it for 2 weeks on the sports/talk stations. plus we mentioned it on xmfan.com <P ID="signature">______________

that must have been the only channels. It wasn't even in the XM newsletter. the only time I heard about it was the day of, and it was after it happened. and that was from reading the posts on the XMFan website.<P ID="signature">______________
