XM Coverage Of Live 8

XM is doing a spectacular job covering this. Each channel is devoted to a single city. That way you miss nothing.

Great job.

Bruce Kelly cried. Haha.

I listened to the entire of the London concert. It was magical and really woderful to hear the terrific sound. I felt that I was there.
Hearing Pink Floyd reunion was absolute magic. After being a fan of them for over 35 years, they still have it. Would be great if they's go on tour with Roger Waters back in the fold.
Special kudos to XM, having had the service for almost a year, it's the best decision I ever made. Am thankful every day for what XM does.

I found that XM respected the music much more than MTV/VH1's TV feed. I turned off the TV and listened to it on XM after awhile because I got sick of the MTV people interrupting the songs.<P ID="signature">______________

Agreed on both points. I'm a newbie (about a month) and feel XM has been fantastic. Very glad I got it.

Great job with Live 8 all around by XM. As for MTV/VH1, nice job interupting Pink Floyd with stupid VJs! I don't need to hear the British chick talking about how she saw people with t-shirts saying "Pink Flod is back" while I'm trying to watch them actually preform for the one and only time they ever will!!! And then to cut off the performance for more commercials? Thank God XM was on so I could hear the rest of "Comfortably Numb".

I can remember watching LIVE Aid 20 years ago depending on cable television and MTV to carry out the whole concert that ran from 9 AM - till I guess midnight depending where you were. And not get snippets of it like when I Believe ABC replayed in it's uncomplete entirety.
Now AOL and XM did the job MTV would've done 20 years ago, but now cable MTV has the quality of the three networks as we know today.
