It appears XM has dropped ALL Air America programming. Anyone know what is going on?

I would guess that Sirius Left is going to be heard on XM. I have Sirius and was hoping Randi Rhodes would be heard on Sirius.

Bet you guys can't wait to hear Lynn on XM.

PLEASE NO ! Lynn Samuels, and Alex Bennett are why I traded Sirius FOR XM, that would push me over the edge.At least the current lineup on America Left mirrors my local progressive talker,of course its a lower powered, daytime only station. Maybe they can have 2 Progressive channels, or move Lynn and Alex to one of the "Stars" channels.

XM is running Alex Bennett taped delayed at midnight. No word on Lynn Samuels as yet. I really liked her when she was on WABC so I would love to have her on XM, at least weekend replays. The new daily lineup is
6-9 Press
9-noon Miller
12-3 Schultz
3-6 Randi
6-9 Hartman
9-mid Malloy
mid-3 Bennet
3-5 Hartman replay
5-6 Maddow

TWO Progressive channels? Wow, that would be one for each listener.

I was going to say that this would be bad news for Air's five listeners but you gave even better snark. Well played!

Air America really doesn't have anything left. Tom Hartman is still with Air America but I've heard that he owns his own program? Does Rachel Maddow still work for Air America? I've noticed that she hasn't mentioned it on her TV show since a week ago yesterday. Mark Green was there then. Maybe she interviewed...He fired her after. Probably not.

rachel has a deal that basically is her tv show rebroadcast on air america for an hour during morning drive.

and i must say that as a sirius subscriber, i want that lineup for 146 with shultz and the first hartmann flipped. it is so much better than what's on now.

I don't think it is any big secret that Air America is liberal talk radio. The liberals control the White House and Congress. Therefore, Air America controls the country. Plain and simple. Now they even want to bring back the so called Fairness Doctrine, that will insure that markets have to carry liberal radio, even when listeners, who vote with their free choice, don't find liberal radio all that interesting. In Cincinnati several years ago, CC took a local AM station and put Jerry Springer on everyday, thinking that he would success here since he was originally from here, and he fell on his face. I am well aware that all the liberals out there are loving all this so called "change" that is happening. That's fine. Different opinions are what makes this nation great. But don't try to make some of us who aren't buying all this crap out to be some kind of reactionary, bigoted, war mongering, right wing nuts...That's what liberals talk radio is attempting to do, and "that dog won't hunt"!

Hey, think positive. That means I would get my '50s Oldies station back. That's only fair, right?

Jerry Springer was on in Cleveland too. He didn't sound bad to me, but I think his history with his admittedly stupid TV show so hurt his credibility that people couldn't accept him as a serious talk show host. They may not recall that he ran for Governor, and was a Mayor in the past. Funny story time: He was once busted for paying a hooker with a check. While running for Governor, my father ran into him at one of his campaign stops. Dad brought up the hooker-check thing. Jerry's response was "we all make mistakes. Haven't you ever made a mistake". My dad said, "Yeah, but not like that!"

Neat story...Three years after Springer paid for the hooker he appeared at a high school gov't class campaigning for Carter and was quoted as saying that we needed to restore morals to gov't. A little girl who hardly ever said a word in class stood up and said " you've got a lot of nerve to say something like that." The rest of the class was so surprised they cheered...Springer then left the room.
