XM problems?

I have enjoyed XM radio for the past few years. However, over the weekend, I noticed that quite a few of the channels have disappeared. Has there been a change made in channel offerings over the weekend?

No, paid subs haven't lost any channels.

If your radio isn't activated, this week they're giving access to about 50 channels to encourage you to subscribe. Come Monday unactivated radios will go back to just the preview channel and weather/emergency channel.

So, if you're only getting 50 channels right now, you may have had a billing problem & your service got cut off right as the free preview kicked in. Call them.

Many of the channels are still there, but several like 40 - 43, 46 are missing, yet 49 is still there along with 6, 7, 8, but not 9. It seems to be random.

And I should be paid up for the next year, so subscription should be a problem. I called XM, but they haven't been any help yet. Just shuffled around from one 'helper' to the next.
 
I noticed the same thing TODAY! What I did was shut it down, pulled the power plug for a few minutes then powered it back up. All came back as normal.

It sounds like you're not receiving one of the transponders.
