I'm a Texan that enjoyed watching the old CBC "Newsworld International" programming. I was hoping that this new Canadian news programming would provide me that kind of viewpoint. Unfortunately, it is nothing more than rip and read news from a wire service. It's a huge disappointment.

XM should have found a way to get a broadcaster in Canada to work with them.

More Canada 360 - It Stinks

Just now, the young woman who's doing "Canada 360" read a story about a Philadelphia Eagles player going on the injured reserve list. Aside from the fact that I'd assume "Canada 360" shouldn't spend a lot of time on the minutiae of the U.S.-based NFL, there was this...the news reader said the player was "the third pro bowler" the team put on the injured list.

No, not "Pro Bowl-er" (NFL player who makes the Pro Bowl). She pronounced it like she was putting this player on the Professional Bowling Association tour.

As I alluded before, isn't XM Radio Canada hooked up with Standard or Corus or someone? Come on...at least these companies can do professional radio!

Hey, I had to drive from Indianapolis to New York and back for Thanksgiving and all I can say is 'Thank God' for Home Ice. It came just in time for me.
