XM Radio Online additions and losses

New channels on XMRO include:

ESPN Radio XM140 (is not expected to include live play-by-play)
PGA Tour Network XM146
NHL Home Ice XM204 (no live NHL games)
XM Sports Nation XM144 (Sporting News content and The Dan Patrick Show are included, live play-by-play will depend on the provider)
CNN XM122
BBC World Service XM131
C-Span Radio XM132
Fox News Talk XM168
Radio Disney XM115.

Unfortunately 7 online only channels were lost:

The Torch
The Flow
XM Music Lab
Luna
Fuego
On The Rocks
Special X
 
i would think that Special X or some form of it will come back for the Christmas season
X was a regular channel when XM first came out
Also I wonder why Fox Sports radio is not offered online by XM.
 
They're gone completely. They're not on the list. When you type in the channel number it just ignores you. They're even gone from my presets. I miss Special X. :'( I hope it will be back for Christmas.

They would have to wrestle the rights away from Clear Channel/Premiere Radio Networks.

Very upsetting.......
 
I was ticked when XM stripped "On The Rocks" from the main platform, but now I'm FURIOUS that they ditched them on line as well. Call me old (I'm only 39), but I enjoyed the swankness of that genre (smooth music, martinis, fezes, cigars, scotch, etc.). It helped me unwind after a rough day. THIS SUX!

dangit...Well there is no reason to listen to XM online now. The Flow was one of my favorites.

I second that. Until the change, I streamed "On the Rocks" every day in my office. I now stream last.fm. It took me a while to get it to sound somewhat like "On the Rocks."
