XM Radio studios?

Did the Washington studio facilities of XM get closed down when the merger took place?
Anyone know if there was an auction of the equipment, or if someone else moved in to the facility?

Both services seemed to have spent a fortune on studios and infrastructure.

They're still there and many employees have relocated there from New York. The XM headquarters is owned by the company and is a cheaper operation than the rented Sirius headquarters in New York City.

Are more of the sirius programs being carried from Washington now?
I would assume someone like Cousin Brucie wouldn't relocate.

No. Brucie's in New York.

I figured that. What percentage of their programming is still coming from NYC? I would imagine Broadway Bill Lee
& Pat St. John don't commute to Washington either. They still must be doing a good number of show from NY.

Sounds like they must be maintaining two (geographically separated) production facilities, then...probably for convenience.
Are they maintaining two distinct Master Controls, and two uplink facilities?

New York is still heavily staffed. Just not like it was pre-merger.

OK-thanks!
