xm radios with trasmitters

the radios with the transmitter in them if you listen to them for like 15 hours or more straight every day over time will the transmitter brun out over time? or are the made to be listen to for long periods of time

My XM SkyFi 2 at home has been on continuously for 2 years and the xmtr is just fine.
