XM to run new American Top 40 shows

Wow ,I hope they dont chop up the show like they did with Caseys old classic 70's and 80's shows.
What happened with those?

I think since these are new shows and because KISS is running them, they'll be complete shows, including network advertising.
I've spoken with Michael Albl, PD of KISS XM, and AT40 will run 6a-6p covering all dayparts. I believe the iTunes Download is gone due to the lack of issues KISS had running it. The chance of KISS or MIX getting a morning show is possible, but unlikely. KISS has full-time jocks due to it being ran by CC and MIX is jockless but has cool interview content. I also heard it performs very well.
I would love to see The Kane Show come to mornings as it is syndicated in many other markets. Kane is already on KISS nights. I think KISS is a cool rhythmic CHR with very good jocks and a lot of cool stuff like AT40, KANE SHOW nights and the Sunday night edition, plus the Spin Cycle mixshow. It'd be cool if they had better imaging and also added recurrent/gold to the playlist though. It's supposed to be imaged after the old Power Pig/Tampa

The Kane Show is on in afternoons. It's part of CC's "Premium Choice" offerings. Kane's morning show is a local show for WIHT only.

The Premium Choice CHR programming does not have Kane in afternoons. That is JJ from Z100 and then Billy The Kidd, also from Z100. As for KISS, Kane is on EVENINGS from 6p-8p and also again on Sunday nights from 7p-12mid LIVE.
Kane's morning show is NOT exclusive to WIHT, but that is the flagship. His morning show is on both:
WIHT/Washington, DC (flagship)
WZKF/Louisville, KY
I heard it on KISS Louisville and it had tons of hosts and sounded like a morning show. Not sure how they do it, but it replaced the syndicated Dave and Jimmy out of Columbus, OH. Kane could very well go to mornings on KISS XM and they can move the current morning guys who are VT'd to nights. The current morning guys don't have much more content than the regular jocks throughout the day. Just my opinion...
