Oh, and when all else fails, you simply state the obvious as WTAM does morning after morning, after morning....

Afternoon drive? Just reverse the direction and you get the same thing.
As one who has a fairly long commute into town everyday, the stuff they miss is embarrassing and inexcusable.
They should have left this traffic thing to trained professionals instead of children. If they had half a brain they would bring back Callaghan, Grodin and the Metro's aircraft. Those guys were the best, but they were not cheap, either.
Guess you get what you pay for. Pitiful.

And what about overnights? WTAM loses a minute of news to mindless bits of drivel about some long-term road closing or the typical 'everything's going fine on all freeways, but if you see an accident, call our tip line at...'
Excuse me, but doesn't ODOT have 1620 AM-type radio transmitters for stuff like that? Totally unnecessary, and another reason NEVER to listen to WTAM at all ever again.
