XM2GO battery question

Anyone have the XM2GO with the "bad battery"? I am wondering if they just automatically send you a replacement or is there something you have to fill out? The page they pointed me to on their site made it sound like it was an automatic process. how long should it take for the new battery to arrive?

We got ours in the mail for both radios before the first of the year without asking for anything. They just showed up.
______________

Just showed up. Didn't have to do anything.

One thing I have noticed about the replacement battery is that it doesn't hold its charge as long as the defect.
______________

I got mine about a week ago, but am keeping the old one as a spare..never had a problem with it

Same here!!! I thought I was the only one. While the new one runs significantly cooler, I am limited to about 4-6 hours of battery power at best.

I received my MyFi battery in the mail yesterday. It came with some paperwork to fill out to let them know I got it. Honestly, I'd forgotten there'd been battery problems reported in the past, so was a bit surprised to receive the new battery.

Re: XM2GO battery question...thanks

Thanks everybody...Yes I am too lazy to reply to each post.

I have noticed mine gets warm, but haven't noticed it to be an extreme temp. I guess I will keep them both together so I will have a spare.

The little clip on antenna sucks almost as bad as the internal antenna (or is that just mine)? Aside from the external vehicle antenna, I get the best reception from the headphones. I do not have a south facing window I can set the home antenna up in.

Just got my replacement battery today. Actually, I wasn't even aware that there was a problem prior to receiving it. So, you don't need to do anything to get it – they will just send it to you in the mail.
