XM , IIRC ( I don't have it , or Sirus , either . ) goes no earlier than 1940s music , in their dedicated channels .
I think that this is a mistake , though I grant that a whole cahannel might be a bit much...Specialty shows , possibly ?
Certainly this could go for classical , as well...Not really " pop " things , like old blues and World , possibly , too ????? I'd love to hear some of the old 78s/cylinders that Nick Tosches speaks of in his books , for example...
Oh , and the NYTimes had an article about both XM and Sir. a bit back , both , in order to be legal in Canada , were going to add some CanCom...One concentrating more on self-produced channels , the other one more on picking up existing CBC streams . Whoa' hoppened ?
