XTREME TALK LIVE - to stop broadcasting

XTREME TALK LIVE has been a mainstay on many Christian Stations for years. It's a live call-in program that people can contact for help (drug addiction, abuse, etc). We just got word that they will be ending their broadcast at the end of the month.

Does anyone know of another similar syndicated program ? We have been broadcasting XTREME TALK LIVE on LIFT FM ever snce we started broadcasting and would like to fill that time slot with a similar program.

Thanks! josh

If you want to air a program where people with real problems can call for real help, find a local host who can steer people to local sources of assistance. Contact local churches, denominational offices, inter-faith groups, etc., and find someone willing to undertake that sort of ministry.

If you're airing that program to help your listeners, then it should be a local program. If all you want to do is plug into something syndicated, it seems to me you're simply pandering to the people who just like to hear other people complain about their problems.

Hummmm? 50,000 counselors we have, on call throughout north America to locally help those that have called up.. Not pandering, I'd say.. Thanks to the American Christian Counselors Association.. It was a meaty show, tonight.. We get these people local help...

It would be far too expensive for a local radio station to run a program of the caliber.. so i'm praying it will come back or another similar syndicated program will come out of this.
