XXX PORN WEBSITE AD ON PHIL HENDRIE

I was totally shocked a couple of nights ago hearing a 60 sec. spot for a website advertising XXX porn...and gives out a "promo code so you can watch your first adult movie."

Sheesh....network radio advertising HAS changed (and not for the better)....
 
I've heard some condom ads on late night talk radio as well. Adult movies have made big money for hotel chains over the years.
 
Why should anyone be shocked? They've been pitching "male enhancement" and other questionable 'natural remedies' on syndicated radio for years.

You can also hear commercials for hydroponic supply companies on rock stations (although there is but one major 'industry" outside of commercial food processing and floral that depends on hydroponic gardening. That LISTENS to rock stations.)

Adult bookstores have been promoted on some local stations. So have XXX chat lines and tobacco shops.

As long as you don't get too saucy in the descriptions ;) , anything goes......
 
Since we're on the topic...

One of my patients brought in ad for a bedroom aid called "The Brazilian Anaconda", asking me if this would be safe to use.

I told her I think that's where the term "Brazilian Blowout" came from and I'd shy away from Amazon Rainforest type gear.

If the porn websites and the condoms deliver what they promise, I'll take them any day over these tax/debt/mortgage relief ads run by scumbags who take advantage of desperate people and sometimes get shut down by the feds.

Just heard it the other night and thought the same! I was streaming online and thought maybe it was an online ad. Should we NOT be shocked? Guess it depends on the market...
