Y-100 ON THE WEB

I just discovered that there's 4 ways to access Y-100's official web site - y100miami.com, y100.7miami.com, y100online.com, and y100.cc. I've been hearing them promote the 3RD way recently on-the-air.The've got a lot of updating to do on their web site to get ready for the upcoming launch of 'Elvis Duran & The Y Morning Zoo'. They also need to replace their Y-100.7 logos throughout with their new (original) Y-100 logo. I wonder if they'll keep the current logo design and just remove the '.7', or will they go back to their original logo design (with the blocked off 'Y' and '100') that was good for nearly 30 years of recognition.THE MAJOR

If they don't go back to the original, I'll be disappointed. I've pointed it out many times before: in the current incarnation of the logo, the dolphin is so depressed about the state of affairs at the station that he can't even muster up the strength to jump through the Y! He has to swim around the side of it! How lame is that? :-D

NICE observation there of the dolphin ! That dolphin looked so happy back in the '70s, '80s, '90s, and first few years of the new millennium. You're right - he's been lookin' rather sad since that '.7' arrived ! :-[I have an old 'Y-100 Morning Zoo' tee-shirt from 1989 that's still hanging up in my closet. In addition to the happy dolphin it's got a peaceful lion sleeping underneath the '-', a toucan peering through the first '0', and a giraffe hanging its long neck and face through the second '0'. Happy animals. Happy zoo. Happy Y-100.THE MAJOR

All you need is 7miami.com. THAT's the domain.

If I understand the way this stuff works, y100 is the name of a server.

Clever way to get the dot into their URL.

Yeah, I miss the dolphin jumping through the goalposts, too.
