Y-100 Sounds like...

Is it just the radio in my car or does Y-100's air signal sound like the quality of a internet stream right now. It's been like this for days. I listened on a couple other radios and the quality is horrible on them as well. Thought it would be fixxed after a couple days.

Earlier this week they actually sounded normal. They then went off-the-air completely for a few minutes during the middle of the day (at least a couple of times). Each time they came back on the audio quality was worse. It's been that way for several days now. But I wouldn't compare it to an Internet stream. I would compare it more to listening to it while my head is under several feet of water.

I hope they get their electronics fixed soon.

They went off-the-air again at least a couple of times yesterday (Friday), and each time they came back on the audio quality sounded better. They are back-to-normal now.

Yes..I have noticed this as well.. in fact, my brother (who doesnt know a thing about radio) even commented on it.
