KS31 hit it on the head...there are so many redundant formats in NYC, a country station would make it here. I was to a Kenny Chesney concert a couple of years ago, and the crowd ran the gamut, age wise- young folks, middle agers, seniors.....And you are starting to hear some of the country stuff hit the "lite" stations; rascal flatts is very popular with the younger folks as well.....
You can preach all you want about the demos, but show up at a country concert and they are all there.....
We just need somebody with the stones to step up to the plate and do it.....since everything now is owned by big companies, not sure thats gonna happen...talk about missing the boat..not everyone goes for the urban crap, and dont forget the listeners on the fringes...upstate ny, Nj......
