You may recall, recently, WXPN's "Y-Rock" channel has rebranded to drop the identity reminiscent of the now-defunct Y-100.
And now, the Internet radio station "Y-Not," run by a guy who happens to work part-time for a popular online radio industry newsletter, and pays for royalties out of his own pocket, is looking to keep the spirit of "Y-100" alive.

I suppose this can be likened to RewoundRadio.com, which is ran by a former DJ at a CHR station in Poughkeepsie, NY, who also operates a popular message board focused on New York radio. Rewound tries - and succeeds - at keeping the spirit of the old "Musicradio 77 WABC" alive.
