Y100 Miami imports Elvis Duran and Morning Zoo of NY!

This morning they worked in a bunch of local Miami area phone calls from listeners in Pembroke Pines, Kendall, and elsewhere, so that was good to hear. A lot of the Miami area listeners were very familiar with Elvis and The Zoo Crew because apparently they listened to them when they lived in New York and listened to Z-100. Froggy was a lot more attentive this morning as well !As far as your plea for dance music on Y-100 - I second that emotion ! ;DWith all of this voicetracking and syndication going on (let's not forget about 'Brotha' Fred' out of Austin Texas all night long) they should bring in Kane's 'Open House Party' on Sunday nights (as well as the original Saturday night edition).THE MAJOR

I seem to recall Y airing OHP for a very short stint not too long ago. I believe they also ran what is now Romeo's Playhouse (it was still The All-Night Cafe at that point). I'd be all for OHP making a return as long as Romeo's Playhouse stays off the air... geez that show is awful ::)

They did have a local program "South Beach Dance Party" on Sunday nights in March and early April, but it was a casuality of the station changes. OHP would be a great option, but they need to go with more dance music at night on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights on location

South Beach Dance Party was the best on Sunday nights! It had a little something for everyone....the first hour was remixes of Top 40 songs... the second hour had current dance songs that are on the charts and in the clubs... and the third hour was the South Beach Top 10 Countdown. It was a really cool show... and guess what! In the winter arbitron book, Y100 had the #1 and #3 spots in the important demographics! #1 and #3... the highest ratings they've ever had, and what did they do? Cancel the show! Go figure! www.southbeachdanceparty.com
