Fridays from 10 – 11 am on WCHE 1520 AM

After many, many hours of bitchin’ and complainin’ about the sad state radio had come to, and the loss of Y-100 (our last hope for “alternative” rock), there’s finally a station that has the antidote for that rock n’ roll poison that’s pulsing through your veins.

WCHE is proud to bring you the A.M. Underground! A once a week let your hair down, knock down, drag-out, rock n’ roll party in West Chester. Hosted by West Chester’s very own Randy Dascher aka R. Dizzle and the second half to the Wacky morning show with Jay Shur. Randy plays out of his own personal collection of stellar musical groups, such as Beck, Soul Coughing, Rage against the machine, Cake, 311 and even Stevie Ray Vaughan, plus many other wacky, weird, wild cats he’ll pull from his stacks of wax.

The show, be it only an hour long once a week, truly gives you a chance to let loose and hear something that you probably haven’t heard on any other station in a long, long time, if ever. So be sure to drink your ovaltine and check out the A.M. Underground Fridays from 10 – 11 am on WCHE 1520 AM hosted by Randy Dascher!!

I thought they ran "Duke & The Doctor" at that hour. It certainly will cause the regular WCHE audience for talk & standards to turn their radios off!
Unfortunately most people who'd listen to that show are probably somewhere at that hour working where a low-power AM couldn't be picked up.

Just curious, do you have some connection with this program or the station?

Is the program brokered? As John1 implied, it is sort of unusual for a station to break format (Nostalgia/Adult Standards) for this kind of show targeting an entirely different audience - an audience that normally does not listen to this station or to AM radio, in general.
